Single-window clearance needed for space tech growth in India: Industry

India’s space-tech industry is pushing for a true single-window clearance system to speed up authorizations, exports, and satellite dispatches. Government and industry leaders also discussed the need for seed funding, indigenous component development, and a stronger role for the government as an anchor customer. IN-SPACe selected Astrobase Space Technologies, SatSure Analytics India, and TM2SPACE Technologies for Technology Adoption Fund support to build propulsion, AI-based remote sensing, and star tracker systems. The Gujarat government and IN-SPACe also announced common technical facilities and a dedicated space manufacturing park to support startups and MSMEs.
