Huya Stock Up As Earnings Top Estimates, YY Also Beats

Wall Street expected YY earnings of $1.86 a share on revenue of $667 million. Mobile active users on YYs livestreaming platform rose 18% to 90.4 million in the fourth quarter from the year-ago period. Huya, the provider of a livestreaming video platform for games, reported adjusted earnings of 11 cents a share on revenue of $218.9 million. Wall Street expected Huya earnings of 9 cents on revenue of $213.5 million. Huya stock initially rose in early trading but gave back much of those gains.
