Kyocera Document Solutions signed an irrevocable agreement to acquire Ceyoniq Group in Germany. The deal gives Kyocera a stronger position in the enterprise content management market and adds Ceyoniq’s nscale platform to its software offering. Ceyoniq will continue operating as a separate entity, and its consultants, developers, and CEO will remain in place. The transaction still needs regulatory approval and was expected to close by the end of October 2015.
