ASELSAN’s DERİNGÖZ autonomous underwater vehicle has successfully detected sea mines in field tests without operator control. The platform can operate at depths of up to 600 meters and run continuously for 24 hours, with the option to extend endurance using extra batteries. ASELSAN designed the system for multiple missions, including reconnaissance, surveillance, port protection, pipeline inspection, and protection of underwater critical infrastructure. The vehicle’s communications, navigation, and sensor stack make it suitable for military use as well as civilian energy and infrastructure operations.
