Monzo and Fair4All Finance pilot Flex Build card for excluded borrowers

Monzo has launched a pilot version of Flex Build, a credit card designed for customers with low or limited credit scores. The product uses a one-time deposit to set a small borrowing limit of up to £250 and aims to help excluded borrowers build repayment history. Fair4All Finance backs the pilot with a partial lending guarantee of up to £7m to support scaling and risk sharing. The launch fits the UK Financial Inclusion Strategy and targets a large group of adults who face barriers to borrowing.
