UZ Leuven and KU Leuven have deployed the NeuroEXPLORER PET scanner in clinical practice and have already used it with more than 400 patients. The system delivers ultra-high-resolution molecular brain imaging that improves early detection, diagnosis, and treatment planning for neurological, vascular, and oncology use cases. The scanner also supports a broad research agenda across neurodegeneration, epilepsy, neuromodulation, inflammation, and cancer. This installation strengthens Leuven’s position as a center for precision medicine and creates a platform for international research collaboration.
