▤ Summary

WASI 0.3.0 is now official and brings native async support to the WebAssembly Component Model. The release rewires several interfaces, including CLI, sockets, filesystem, clocks, and HTTP, to use simpler async patterns. It also removes older capability and poll-based mechanics in favor of more ergonomic component-model abstractions. The HTTP changes are especially significant because they enable service chaining and direct in-process composition for microservices. Most downstream impact looks mechanical, but the new model can change how developers build and connect WebAssembly-based services.
