Gulftainer unveils 150-hectare regional powerhouse ‘Al Dhaid Multi-Modal Trade Corridor’

Gulftainer has announced plans for the Al Dhaid Multi-Modal Trade Corridor, a 150-hectare logistics hub in Sharjah with capacity for 1.5 million TEUs a year. The project will connect Khorfakkan Port with the Etihad Rail network and is designed to improve inland drayage, first- and last-mile logistics, and regional freight movement. The hub will include an inland container yard, empty depot, container freight station, and single-window clearance environment. The company says the corridor will serve manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain operators across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the wider GCC.
