Carestream launches its new Lux HD 35 and Lux HD 43 detectors for medical imaging

Carestream has launched the Lux HD 35 and Lux HD 43 X-ray detectors for medical imaging markets worldwide. The new detectors use a glass-free cesium iodide design, a 100-micron pixel pitch, and improved ergonomics to support clearer images and easier handling. Carestream also highlights enhanced wireless dose control, expanded automatic exposure control, and compatibility with multiple DRX systems. The detectors work with the ImageView software platform optimized by Eclipse AI, and Carestream plans to release another detector based on the same platform in the second half of 2026.
