Nokia has launched Deepfield Genome Shield, a new security automation system built to deliver proactive, always-on DDoS protection. The product targets telecom providers, hosting companies, internet exchange points, and cloud builders facing faster, more evasive AI-era attacks. Nokia says the system uses continuously updated threat intelligence and automated policy enforcement to block botnet command-and-control traffic and reduce volumetric attacks. Red Dot Technologies is already using the solution to protect against both inbound attacks and compromised subscriber devices. The rollout includes cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment options with pay-as-you-grow licensing.
