SCHOTT Pharma has opened expanded vial production capacity at its Lebanon, Pennsylvania site. The investment adds new standard and sterile ready-to-use vial lines and is designed to strengthen U.S. pharmaceutical supply resilience. BARDA supported much of the more than $60 million project to improve domestic availability of critical primary packaging. The expansion also boosts output for high-value vial solutions used in biologics, vaccines, emergency medicines, and other complex injectable therapies. The company says the upgraded site will support faster, more flexible filling for pharma manufacturers and CMOs.
