Shortage of skills and people putting pressure on organisations, finds EY

EY Ireland’s latest Tech Leaders Outlook Survey shows that Irish technology leaders are struggling more than ever to find skilled employees. Leaders say the shortage of AI and technology talent is the biggest barrier to executing transformation plans and implementing new technologies. At the same time, most respondents are investing in AI or developing an AI strategy, which increases pressure on teams that already lack capacity. The findings point to a widening gap between AI ambition and the people needed to deliver it in practice.
