WuXi AppTec Accelerates Global Manufacturing Expansion to Meet Rising Customer Demand

WuXi AppTec is expanding manufacturing capacity across the United States, Europe, Asia, and China to keep up with rising demand from drug development and manufacturing customers. The company plans to raise capital spending by at least 17% this year to support new drug substance and drug product capacity. Its new Delaware facility will start oral solid dosage production in late 2026, with sterile and injectable production expected in 2027. WuXi AppTec is also adding capabilities in Switzerland, Singapore, and several Chinese sites, with strong growth in peptides, oligonucleotides, and small molecules driving the buildout.
