Microsoft introduced Frontier Tuning, a new service that trains AI models on how enterprises actually work, not just on documents and data sources. The service uses guided reinforcement learning to continuously learn from workflows, tool interactions, and user feedback while staying inside existing security and governance controls. Microsoft says the goal is to help organizations build AI agents that reflect their approval chains, terminology, compliance rules, and operating patterns. Frontier Tuning is in private preview now through Microsoft’s partner-led FDE program and will soon be available through Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.
