SK bioscience and VECOL partner on Colombia vaccine manufacturing initiative

SK bioscience has signed a vaccine technology transfer and manufacturing agreement with Colombia’s state-owned VECOL to support a national vaccine localisation effort. The partnership will use VECOL as the local implementation partner while SK bioscience provides technology transfer, manufacturing support, and regulatory guidance. The first vaccine in scope is SKYVaricella, with room to expand the portfolio later. This deal is meant to strengthen Colombia’s vaccine supply resilience and expand SK bioscience’s footprint in Latin America.
