AirAsia MOVE, Intebix, Solana Foundation team up to explore stablecoin integration in Kazakhstan

AirAsia MOVE, Intebix, and the Solana Foundation signed a letter of intent to explore integrating Evo (KTZE), a Tenge-denominated stablecoin on Solana, into AirAsia MOVE’s platform in Kazakhstan. The parties will assess technical architecture, settlement mechanics and regulatory alignment within Kazakhstan’s regulatory sandbox to determine feasibility and potential pilot terms. The initiative aims to enable lower-friction digital payments for travel bookings and expand digital payment options for AirAsia MOVE’s users. Evo was launched on Solana in 2025 with Mastercard and Eurasian Bank, and the partners intend to move toward definitive agreements for a pilot if assessments prove viable.
