Tracsis plc completed the acquisition of Travel Compensation Services Limited, Delay Repay Sniper Limited and S Dalby Consulting Limited, bringing their delay-repay software and consumer portal into the Tracsis group. TCS provides enterprise software that automates processing of rail delay claims to reduce costs, speed responses and reduce fraud, while DRS operates a subscription consumer portal at delayrepaysniper.com. Both businesses employ nine staff who will remain post-transaction, reported combined revenue of £0.7m and profit before tax of £0.3m for the year to 30 September 2017, and are subject to a three-year earn-out. Tracsis says the acquisitions complement its rail offering, should deliver cost and satisfaction benefits to train operators and passengers, and support expected market growth.
