Indra was selected by Airbus Defence and Space to develop a Full Flight Simulator for the Airbus C295 as part of the future pilot training center at Getafe Air Base for the Spanish Air and Space Force. The simulator will deliver high-fidelity, mission-oriented training using Indra's INVIS visual system and a geospecific database so crews can rehearse realistic airports, runways and operational scenarios. Airbus Defence and Space will act as prime contractor for the full Training Center, which includes facilities, the simulator and initial support. The contract strengthens Indra's simulation portfolio alongside previous C295 MPA, A400M and A330 MRTT projects and builds on its record of delivering over 250 simulators to customers worldwide.
