Mitsubishi Research Institute Selected for Space Strategy Fund’s “Project to Accelerate Implementation of Satellite Data Utilization Systems”

▤ Summary

Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) was selected by JAXA for the space strategy fund project to accelerate implementation of satellite data utilization systems in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.). MRI will build a five-year hub linking Japanese and Middle Eastern government, industry, and academia to accelerate social implementation and commercialization of satellite data. The program will deliver an information/data platform, talent development and matching, business-matching and PoC-to-commercialization support, and policy formation and execution functions. MRI aims to support Japanese companies' overseas expansion and establish sustained policy-and-business cooperation for satellite-data business in the region.
