Mindbody acquires HealCode

Mindbody acquired HealCode on September 6, 2016 to add web-engagement and marketing tools to its cloud-based business management platform for wellness businesses. More than 7,500 of Mindbody's customers had adopted HealCode's website widgets to embed real-time class and appointment schedules into their sites and social pages. HealCode integrates with popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and Drupal, and captures customer and prospect data for automated marketing within Mindbody. The acquisition expands Mindbody's omnichannel capabilities and complements prior moves like the Fitness Mobile Apps purchase to drive more online bookings and branded experiences.
