Klarna launched the Shopping Search app inside ChatGPT to enable real-time product discovery and shopping directly within chat conversations. The app connects ChatGPT to Klarna’s live commerce database of more than 100 million products and 400 million merchant listings across 13 markets, surfacing current prices, stock, and promotions. Retailers can appear organically or purchase clearly marked sponsored placements to reach high-intent shoppers, and the app directs users to retailers’ sites to finalize purchases.
