Anchorage Digital Expands Institutional Access to Solana DeFi via Porto Self-Custody Wallet
Summary
Anchorage Digital updated its institutional self-custody wallet, Porto, to support arbitrary Solana interactions and provide secure, transparent access to leading Solana DeFi protocols such as Jupiter, Orca, Kamino and others. The integration deploys the Visual Sign Protocol (VSP) to decode serialized Solana transactions into human-readable summaries, eliminating blind signing and reducing operational and compliance risk. Porto runs decoding logic in a hardened, air-gapped environment while keeping private keys offline in hardware security modules (HSMs), preserving institutional custody and protecting against display spoofing. Anchorage and partner protocol leaders say the capability enables faster, safer capital deployment from self-custody positions and should attract deeper institutional participation in Solana DeFi.
