UK-based Configuring and develop automated engineering tools

▤ Summary

JGC (日揮HD) signed an MOU with UK-based Configuring Ltd. to jointly develop an automated engineering tool called "Configurator." The project will combine JGC's digitized design knowledge with Configuring's design-automation technology to generate faster, more flexible optimal design proposals. JGC plans to validate the tool in its domestic life sciences projects and expand application areas toward 2030 as part of its DX and long-term 2040 vision. The effort aims to capture veteran engineers' knowledge, improve design efficiency and quality, and strengthen the group's sustained engineering competitiveness.
