'AI Agriculture Platform' Transfarmer Selected for Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'TIPS' Development Project
Summary
Transfarmer, an AI-based rural-economy platform, was selected for South Korea's TIPS program and will receive 50 million KRW in R&D funding over two years plus additional commercialization and overseas marketing support. The company will use the funds to advance its AI platform—launched last November—that provides land-value assessment, crop revenue estimates, farm diagnostics, and crop recommendations. Under the TIPS project Transfarmer will develop a one-stop system to automate cost estimates for land-integrated production plants such as smart farms, smart barns, and agrivoltaic installations. The platform reports five months of rising MAU with a three-month average growth rate of 118% and has already secured seed investment and selection in other accelerator programs.
