Yet another D&D game has been cancelled

Stig Asmussen's new studio Giant Skull has had its Dungeons & Dragons project cancelled after Wizards of the Coast decided not to move forward. Asmussen left EA to form Giant Skull and the team had about a year of work invested in the concept. This is the second D&D game cancellation following the success of Baldur's Gate 3, though Wizards continues to support other D&D game projects such as Warlock. Giant Skull's next steps are unclear now that the project has been scrapped.
