Ghost Ship Games is moving Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core from alpha into Early Access on May 20. The standalone spin-off casts players as heavily armed "Reclaimers" who must investigate a mysterious core region, recover the mineral Expenit, and battle a new alien threat called Corespawn. The game supports up to four-player co-op, launches with five character classes, and the studio plans to add more options over time. Rogue Core keeps the cooperative, procedural-cave gameplay of the original while introducing new mechanics and a different premise.
