Ink Ecosystem Gains Institutional Liquidity via New Maple Finance Partnership

Maple deployed its dollar-yield product syrupUSDT on the Ink OP Stack-based layer-two network on May 13, expanding institutional yield access to Ink's more than 10 million users. Users can now earn base yield on syrupUSDT natively within the Ink ecosystem and use the asset in applications such as the Aave-powered Tydro lending and borrowing protocol. The integration aims to bridge institutional asset management and onchain DeFi by enabling developers to compose Maple assets into native financial strategies. Maple and Ink plan to introduce a specialized incentives and rewards program to drive adoption and further onchain fintech expansion.
