Nvidia Announces Startup Partnership to Build Reinforcement-Trained AI

Nvidia said it is partnering with London-based startup Ineffable Intelligence, founded by AlphaGo architect David Silver, to codesign infrastructure for large-scale reinforcement-learning agents. The collaboration will focus on supporting RL workloads that demand higher interconnect performance and memory bandwidth and may need new model architectures and training algorithms. Engineers from both companies will work together to determine the best approaches to train these agents, starting under Nvidia's Grace Blackwell program. The work will be among the first efforts to use Nvidia’s upcoming Vera Rubin platform.
