IG expands UK digital asset offering, adding crypto transfers

IG Group expanded its UK crypto offering after obtaining FCA cryptoasset registration, adding more than 50 cryptocurrencies to take its total above 100. The platform now supports crypto-to-crypto swaps instead of fiat-only purchases and offers enhanced charting with candlesticks, technical indicators, and annotations. IG will soon enable crypto transfers in and out, letting you move holdings from external wallets and manage crypto alongside CFDs and spread bets within a single account. Product Director Mat Perkins says IG is building a more complete, trusted crypto investing experience by adding assets, tools, and integrated wallet functionality.
