EVA AIR SELECTS PANASONIC AVIONICS' ARC™ 3D IN-FLIGHT MAP PLATFORM FOR ITS A350 FLEET

EVA Air selected Panasonic Avionics' Arc 3D in-flight map platform for its Boeing 787, 777-300ER and upcoming A350-1000 fleet and became the first Taiwanese airline to deploy the Arc map software. The updated interface delivers high-resolution 3D visuals, more than 15 viewing angles, street-level maps for selected cities, and a cinematic Arc Vistas screensaver. EVA Air is the launch customer for Arc for Young Explorers, a child-focused mode that overlays dinosaur-themed educational content on real-time flight data. The Arc integration also supports in-map advertising via Panasonic's OneMedia tool so the airline can manage, deploy, monitor and report ad placements.
