WoW: Heroic Affix for Mobs - New Legion-Style Endgame Feature Makes the World More Dangerous

Patch 12.0.7 will add heroic Invasion Points that let players enable a Legion-style heroic world tier, increasing mob and boss difficulty in exchange for better rewards. Two mini-zones, Naigtal and Val, open through Void Storm portals and host new elite enemy groups and Void leaders. The heroic mode introduces general creature affixes and weekly rotating affixes that change monster abilities, and the developers propose heroic loot around item level 274 (vs. 217 for normal). The Invasion Points are currently on the test realm and may change (including mob scaling) before the expected June 17, 2026 release.
