BrainChip Expands AI Software for Akida AKD1500 Edge AI Processor - Embedded Computing Design
Summary
BrainChip expanded its software partner ecosystem to support the new Akida AKD1500 edge AI processor by bringing MulticoreWare, P-Product, and BeEmotion.ai into its program. The partners will design, port, and optimize machine learning models to run efficiently on Akida’s neuromorphic, ultra-low-power architecture across CPUs, GPUs, MCUs and accelerators. BrainChip says the collaboration aims to make ultra-low-power, brain-inspired AI more accessible to developers and to deliver high-performance edge solutions. The move strengthens tooling and model availability for Akida customers and accelerates deployment of efficient edge AI use cases.
