The solution is built on NLP optimized for Japanese sentence structures and academic writing conventions rather than being a simple translation of its domestic CopyKiller product. Muhayu says CopyMonitor already serves about 80 client organizations and over 220,000 users in Japan and plans to expand partnerships with educational institutions. The company positions the tool as a verification guide to foster proper citation and AI literacy, supporting responsible AI use instead of merely blocking it.
