Grayscale Selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'TIPS' Program… Develops 'AI Care Curating Solution'
Summary
Greyscale, operator of the senior commerce platform Greymall, was selected for South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups TIPS program and will receive KRW 500 million in R&D funding over two years plus up to KRW 200 million more for commercialization and overseas marketing. The company will develop an AI care-curating solution that uses natural language processing to analyze unstructured data (symptoms, situations) and assess a senior’s level of daily living dependency. Greyscale’s existing curating algorithm matches customer health profiles with suitable products and content and will expand to support multi-year long-term care insurance usage planning. The project aims to enable more predictable in-home care (Aging In Place) and help Greyscale grow its senior-focused product lineup and distribution presence.
