Incredibuild acquires Garden to accelerate game development

Incredibuild has acquired Garden to combine Garden’s CI/CD pipeline acceleration with Incredibuild’s build and compilation acceleration capabilities. The integration will unify features like stack graphs, caching, production-like environments, distributed and cached builds, build observability, and orchestration to speed end-to-end software delivery. The combined platform aims to help game developers and other software teams using containers and Kubernetes shorten development cycles, reduce compute costs, and automate CI pipelines. Both companies’ CEOs said the acquisition expands reach and provides a more comprehensive suite of tools to accelerate development from code to production.
