Health Bank One Gives AI Applications Access to Trusted Digital Identity and Verified Medical Records Through MCP
Summary
Health Bank One launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) services to give developers OAuth-based access to high-assurance digital identity, verified consolidated medical records, and engagement tools for building personalized health AI. The service issues consumer-owned, banking-grade Digital IDs that govern access to identity, medical, and insurance data and enable one authorized 1:1 connection between apps and users. Developers integrate once to verify users, retrieve normalized AI-ready clinical context (meds, labs, conditions, documents, insurance), and write back authorized outputs, removing the infrastructure burden of identity, consent, and record normalization. The company is opening a Bootstrap Developer Program and will publish technical documentation and integration details in June.
