Google unveiled Googlebook, a new premium laptop category and a unified OS that merges ChromeOS and Android to bring native Android apps and AI features to laptops. The company showcased features like Cast My Apps for running phone apps on a Googlebook, Quick Share with AirDrop compatibility, and AI-driven widgets powered by Gemini Intelligence. Google confirmed hardware partners (Acer, Asus, HP, Dell, Lenovo) and said Googlebooks will arrive in the fall, with feature rollouts starting on Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones this summer.
