New Firefox update patches a whopping 271 bugs with help from Claude Mythos

Mozilla released Firefox 150, introducing enhancements to Split View, multi-tab sharing, in-browser translations, and a built-in PDF editor. The update also patches 271 security vulnerabilities, with slightly more than 40 recorded as public CVEs. Mozilla credited early evaluations with Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview (and earlier Opus models) for helping identify many of the flaws.
