Microsoft announced expanded Microsoft Foundry capabilities and new Azure AI infrastructure at NVIDIA GTC, including general availability of the next-generation Foundry Agent Service and Observability in the Foundry Control Plane. The company added NVIDIA Nemotron models to Foundry, enabled Voice Live API in public preview, and broadened integrations with security and runtime partners to simplify moving agents from prototype to production. Microsoft said it is the first hyperscale cloud to power on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 systems and will roll them into liquid-cooled Azure datacenters, while adding initial support for the Vera Rubin platform on Azure Local for regulated and sovereign environments. Microsoft and NVIDIA also introduced an Azure Physical AI Toolchain and deeper Fabric–Omniverse integration to support end-to-end physical AI, simulation and digital-twin workflows for enterprise deployments.
