Anduril to acquire space-tracking firm ExoAnalytic Solutions
Summary
Anduril Industries plans to acquire ExoAnalytic Solutions, which operates roughly 400 ground-based optical telescopes and employs about 130 people across California, Colorado and Alabama. The purchase will fold ExoAnalytic into Anduril’s space and engineering division, more than doubling Anduril’s roughly 120-person space unit and significantly expanding its space business. Anduril intends to integrate ExoAnalytic’s space-tracking observations into its Lattice command-and-control software, support national security space customers, and consider selling tracking data to outside customers. The deal complements Anduril’s plans to operate spacecraft and demonstrate onboard sensing and autonomous processing through three upcoming self-funded missions with partners including Argo Space and Impulse Space.
