UltraSight presented late-breaking clinical validation results for its FDA-cleared PVAD IQ AI software at the 2026 THT Conference. PVAD IQ analyzes echocardiographic clips to identify aortic valve plane and pump inlet and automatically calculate microaxial pump insertion depth. In a prospective validation of 76 patients and 200 loops the algorithm achieved a mean absolute error of 0.42 cm, met the pre-specified performance goal (<0.5 cm), and matched intra-observer consistency of expert readers. The software integrates into UltraSight’s Echosystem to standardize measurements, reduce operator variability, speed bedside decisions, and extend expert-level assessment across care teams.
