Buy Brings New In-Survey Anti-Fraud Tech to Rep Data

Rep Data has acquired ReDem to add in-survey AI-driven data quality and scoring to its existing pre-survey fraud-prevention tools. Rep Data offers Research Desk (a DIY sampling platform) and Research Defender (an anti-fraud platform) and will integrate ReDem’s real-time response evaluation while still offering both services standalone. The combined offering aims to detect and block bots, AI-assisted respondents and duplicate or low-quality answers, reducing downstream manual cleaning. The firms say the integration will create an end-to-end approach to data quality that addresses risks before and during fieldwork.
