Elements (Oxygene) now produces much faster math performance for Object Pascal/VCL apps by leveraging an upgraded LLVM backend and a vectorised math library (SLEEF). The compiler adds CPU target selection (including AVX2 and native ARM64) so code can use modern SIMD instructions, yielding benchmarks showing 4x–11x faster math versus Delphi and parity or advantage over Visual C++. The release positions Island/Delphi as a practical path to import and rebuild Delphi projects while adding modern language features and platform targets Delphi lacks.
