Trash Goblin developer launches crowdfunding campaign to back new merch store

New Products

Summary

Spilt Milk Studios launched a Kickstarter to fund a permanent merch store, starting with a Trash Goblin-themed line including a plush toy, posters, T-shirts, pins, artbooks and stickers. The studio set a goal of £18,000 and partnered with Mighty Merch for manufacture and fulfillment, aiming to create a new, modest revenue stream to help prototype future ideas. Founders Nicholas Lovell and Andrew Smith designed rewards, built the campaign and will manage the Kickstarter largely without involving developers, while the studio leverages its established community on Kickstarter, Steam and Discord. The campaign runs until February 20 and includes a charity tie-in that donates $5 from a custom pin badge to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
