Oviva closes €200 million Series D for AI-supported healthcare

Berlin-based digital health company Oviva has closed a €200 million Series D round led by Kinnevik with participation from Planet First Partners, A.P. Moller Holding, Lunate, EGS Beteiligungen AG, Norrsken VC and Sofina. Oviva will use the capital to expand its reimbursable digital therapy programs beyond obesity into high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes and to further develop its AI-supported platform for personalized treatment paths. The company combines a medical-device-certified app with interdisciplinary human treatment teams and says AI ensures scalability, quality assurance and efficiency. Oviva has treated more than one million patients, cites over 90 peer-reviewed studies supporting its programs, tripled patient numbers in two years, and achieved operational profitability in 2025.
