TechnoMile acquires SIMS Software, adding facility security and more AI to its platform
Summary
TechnoMile acquired SIMS Software to add facility security, clearance tracking and post-award compliance capabilities to its government contract lifecycle platform. Capitol Meridian Partners backed the transaction and will hold a majority stake while K1 Investment Management exits; financial terms were not disclosed and senior leaders retain equity. The combined company will pair TechnoMile's pre-award tools with SIMS's facility and compliance software, bring complementary AI features, serve about 350 customers, and expand TechnoMile's West Coast presence. SIMS will become a new product line and CEO Michael Struttman will transition to chief business development officer, and advisers and debt financing supported the deal.
