Wolters Kluwer acquires StandardFusion

▤ Summary

Wolters Kluwer has completed the acquisition of StandardFusion, a Vancouver-based cloud GRC provider, for approximately 32 million in cash. The company will integrate StandardFusion into Corporate Performance & ESG’s TeamMate audit and assurance platform to deliver a unified audit, risk, control, and compliance solution. StandardFusion reported about 4 million in 2024 gross revenues (C$6M) with roughly 94% recurring revenue, and around 40 FTEs will join Wolters Kluwer. Wolters Kluwer expects the deal to achieve ROIC above its after-tax WACC (8%) within 3–5 years and says the impact on adjusted earnings will be immaterial in the near term.
