Cambridge Investment Research made a strategic minority investment in The AmeriFlex Group to accelerate national expansion of its SuccessionFully succession-planning platform for financial advisors. The funds will support advisor education, deal-structuring support, marketplace growth and continuity planning while AmeriFlex remains majority advisor-owned and strategically independent. The investment follows a broker-dealer partnership formed six months earlier that helped AmeriFlex add 11 advisors and over $1 billion in client assets. Terms were not disclosed, and both firms frame the deal as a partnership to scale a conflict-free succession solution for advisors facing imminent retirements.
