Setting up and using your phone in File Explorer

New Products

Summary

You can now use Link to Windows to access Android files directly in File Explorer on Windows 11. The feature lets you browse, open, copy, move, rename, delete, and transfer files wirelessly between your phone and PC. You need an Android 11+ device, Link to Windows version 1.24072.258.0 or later, and a Windows 11 PC. You can enable or disable the feature from Settings under Bluetooth & devices, and you can recover deleted files from the connected device folder on your Android phone. If you want to remove local copies from your PC, you can delete them from the CrossDevice folder after turning the feature off.
