Summary
WSP used HTZ Communications to model radio coverage for GSM-R, FRMCS, and potential Private 5G across a railway corridor. The software helped validate network design, check compliance, and recalculate coverage when civil engineering changes affected equipment siting. WSP also used it to run EMC and interference assessments near the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory, including heat maps and path profiles. The project showed how the platform can reduce infrastructure costs while supporting complex rail communications planning.
